Reviews and Ratings
The hotel may not have been exactly what I had expected, but staying at Erinvale turned out to be a decent choice overall. The rooms were small but comfortable for a short stay, though they do require some adjustments. The service was exceptionally accommodating and friendly, with staff going above and beyond. The location, while a bit further out, offered a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful wine estates. As for the dining, there were some disappointments, but there were also satisfying options available.
I had a delightful stay at this hotel. The rooms were cozy and equipped with heaters, perfect for the winter visit. They are spacious enough for a toddler to play in, featuring a lovely separate lounge and a huge comfortable bed. The service was top-notch, with all staff being genuinely concerned about ensuring a perfect stay. The location, amid beautiful gardens with wineries nearby, was a peaceful retreat with convenient access to Cape Town and Hermanus. The dining experience under the oak tree was excellent with plenty of choices. However, some areas could use more grass instead of concrete. Overall, a great value for money stay.
The hotel is conveniently located near the security entrance of the golf course, offering a mix of comfort and noise late at night from passing cars. The rooms, though small, are well-equipped and cozy for a one-night stay.
My stay at the hotel was a pleasant one. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, booked for me by my Travel Specialist because of the convenient location next to the security entrance of the golf course, though it could get noisy with cars late at night. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff. The location, while a bit further out than I initially preferred, turned out to be ideal for exploring the historic Vergelegen area. The dining experience provided a lovely selection, but the fruit salad was disappointing. Overall, a good value for money stay with a few minor drawbacks.
